Rounds
On-Campus Performance
Selected teams will perform live at the campus in front of judges and an audience. This is where the winners will be determined. 1. The entire time should equal 10 minutes. 2. Each team will have 7 minutes to perform and showcase their routine. 3. An additional 3 minutes is allocated for setup and clearing the stage, ensuring smooth transitions between performances.
Guidelines
1. There will be one performance category : a group can have a minimum of 5 members and maximum of 20 participants.
2. Performances must strictly adhere to the allotted time: Total of 10 minutes- 7 minutes, with an additional 3 minutes for setup and exit. Exceeding this time will result in penalty points.
3. The theme “Through the Ages”, given for performance should be strictly adhered to.
4. No style limits— groups can perform in their preferred style - Bollywood, the flow of contemporary, the power of classical, the energy of folk, or create a fusion.
5. Team should have at least one pre-recorded pen drive with the dance music which should be handed over to the organizers before the event.
6. Props, costumes and others (needed for the performance) must be brought by the participants.
7. Props, if used, should be conveyed three days prior to the event.
8. Groups will earn extra points for following the theme.
9. Any instance of vulgarity/ disturbing content of any order will lead to forceful halt of performance and immediate disqualification.
10. Groups must report to the location 45 minutes before the given time for competition, which would be provided in the mail a day before competition.
11. Marks will be given on creativity, selected music, stage presence, teamwork, dance variation, synchronization, entertainment value and other skills.
12. Each team needs to have a coordinator/leader who will coordinate things with the organizers of the event.
13. All participants must carry a valid ID card of their institute or a bonafide certificate duly signed by the Director and a valid Government photo ID (Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhar Card).
14. The decision of the judges and the Organizing Committee will be considered final and binding.
