Round 1 - Online Round

The marvels of daily life are exciting; no movie director can arrange the unexpected that you find in the street." - Robert Doisneau. In round 1 students will be asked to upload a photograph on the theme “Photos that tell a story”.

Round 2 - On-Campus Final Round

In this round, which will be held on campus, students will be asked to perform tasks on campus as the judge dictates.

1. Only individual participation is allowed.
2. There is no entry fee for participation.
3. Entries must be submitted online via Google Forms.
4. Participants may be asked to provide the original photograph via email.
5. A caption may accompany photographs. However, the impact of captions is up to the judges' discretion.
6. The shortlisted individuals will move on to the final round, which will be conducted on campus and involve tasks as dictated by the judge.
7. All photographs must be original and clicked by the participant within the bounds of the college premises.
8. Photographs should not have borders, watermarks, copyright marks, or identifying marks.
9. Only very minimal post-processing is allowed. Refer to http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/ngm/photo-contest/digital-manipulation-notice/ for a briefing on all the essential elements of post-processing permitted in this competition.
10. The photographs' EXIF data must be intact and include the date and time on which it was clicked and the camera model it was clicked with.
11. By participating in the competition, entrants agree to allow the organizers to use their photographs, in print or electronic form, for non-commercial purposes.
12. Entrants' photographs may be posted on the Official SIBM Bengaluru Facebook page for liking and sharing, and on the Instagram page for liking and sharing.
13. Participants must follow @sibmbengaluru on Instagram.
14. Entries should be submitted on the unstop portal as well as uploaded via the IG accounts.
15. The Instagram handle provided in the registration form must match the one from which the photograph is uploaded.
16. Entries will be judged on creativity, appeal, quality and originality.
17. All participants must carry a valid ID card from their institute or a bona fide certificate duly signed by the Director and a valid government photo ID (Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhar card).
18. The decisions of the Judges and the Organizing Committee are final and binding.
19. Entrants must bring their gear (camera, phone, gimbal, etc.)for the final round that will be held on the campus of SIBM Bengaluru.
20. The event organising team will hold the final call regarding participation, eligibility, and associated decisions.
