Round 1 - Quiz Round

First round is an online quiz round that will test your knowledge and skills in data science, statistics, quantitative aptitude and analytical approach. "Gear up to showcase your analytical prowess and data-driven brilliance in this thrilling test of wit and skill!"

Round 2 - Case Study Submission

The top-performing teams from Round I will advance to this stage, where they will tackle a data-driven case study accompanied by a dataset reflecting a real-world business challenge. Teams must analyze the case and develop a concise, impactful solution presented as a 3-slider PDF or PPT. The submission should feature robust analysis, insightful charts, and compelling visualizations, all aligned with the specified business objectives. Rename and submit the file following the prescribed naming convention: ‘TeamName_DataWars_Revelation’.

Round 3 - Case Study Presentation

This round will take place on the SIBM Bengaluru campus, where shortlisted teams will present their case solutions to a panel of judges. Participants must prepare a detailed presentation based on the case provided in Round II and submit a 7-slide deck (excluding introduction and thank-you slides). Teams will be evaluated on their case analysis, storytelling prowess, and effective use of data visualization integrated into their solution.

1. Participation must be in teams of 2.
2. Multiple teams from the same college are allowed. A student cannot be part of more than one team.
3. Modification of the team composition or the solution after the first round of submissions is not allowed.
4. Submission File Naming Convention: TeamName_DataWars
5. All the registered teams must ensure that they have good internet connectivity.
6. The organizing committee will not be responsible if any issues arise due to network connectivity and if any teams cannot participate in the round.
7. All participants must carry a valid ID card of their institute or a bonafide certificate duly signed by the Director and a valid Government photo ID (Driving License/Passport/Aadhar card).
8. The decision of the judges and the Organizing Committee will be considered final and binding.
