This one-of-a-kind event provides an exceptional platform for you to showcase your talents and emerge as a future HR leader. Get ready to compete with the brightest minds from top B-schools across India as you navigate through challenging rounds that will test your HR knowledge and skills. From deciphering complex HR data to crafting innovative solutions for real-world HR dilemmas, you will be pushed to your limits and beyond. So, are you ready to reshape the future of HR?
Rounds
Round 1 - Online Quiz/Crossword
It will comprise of 20 questions along with a comprehension passage (Short Case Study) on HR domains and have a time limit of 30 minutes.
Round 2 - (Part A) Case Study Analysis
Selected teams will have to submit the solution for the case study given within 24 hours of the case being revealed. Teams will be evaluated based on HR theoretical concepts, philosophies and constructs utilized to describe and justify the solution approach qualitatively.
Round 3 - (Part B) On-campus hr analytics dataset
Teams will be provided a dataset for the case on which they must perform various data analytics techniques (quantitative and qualitative) to ascertain results and suggest quantifiable recommendations from an analytics perspective. In this part, teams will be evaluated solely on the analytical understanding, calculation of metrics, and conclusions derived from the same. This would involve the identification and justification of analytics methods used for the solution, the accuracy of calculations, and the appropriateness and feasibility of quantitative measures suggested as the solution. .
Round 4 - On-Campus Case Study Analysis
8 teams will be shortlisted who will have to present their solution to the judges. They will be allotted 30 minutes each, inclusive of a Q&A session. The grading will be out of 10, by each of the judges and the team scoring the highest will win.
Guidelines
1. Only the teams that qualify the preliminary rounds are eligible to participate in the event.
2. Participation must be in teams of 2, from the same Institute.
3. Multiple teams from the same institute are allowed.
4. No person should be a member of more than one team.
5. Students of SIBM-B are not permitted to participate.
6. Participants must be in formal attire at all times during the event.
7. The event will be held on the SIBM-B campus on the dates decided by the organizing committee.
8. Every round will have a specific set of rules which the participants will be expected to comply with.
Instructions will be given to all teams prior to the beginning of each round.
9. Participants are requested to adhere to the timing specified for each event.
10. All participants must carry a valid ID card of their institute or a bonafide certificate duly
signed by the Director and a valid Government photo ID (Driving License/Passport/Aadhar card).
11. The use of mobile phones is strictly prohibited in between rounds unless specified.
12. Any team caught using unfair means like the internet or mobile (unless otherwise specified) will
be disqualified.
13. The decision of the judges and the Organizing Committee will be considered final and binding.
